Product Design Engineer
Duties: Responsible for the design and development of new and existing products

Education or Training – Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or above preferred
Experience – Some knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods
Special Skills and Personality Traits – Ability to read, interpret, and comprehend technical drawings; capacity for analytical reporting; creative problem-solving ability; excellent computer skills; knowledgeable of materials, manufacturing processes, and achievable tolerance levels; strong quantitative and analytical skills; understanding of the product development process
Special Requirements – Licensing as a Professional Engineer (PE) may require. Preferred to be Mandarin (Chinese) speaking
Position Description
Covers multiple engineering disciplines, primarily electrical, mechanical, and civil.
Work with marketing personnel to develop the product’s concept and its specifications
Oversee the design process.
Ability to conduct analytical studies on the original engineering proposals to develop designs for product and analyze the data to determine the feasibility of the proposal.
Ability to create files necessary for prototype and production.
Develop, test and correct prototype functions
Travel is required
